#project process & strategy

The goal of our project was to design an app that embodies the luxury aesthetic and provides seamless navigation for customers. To do this, we had to resolve the challenge of balancing aesthetic appeal with functional simplicity that would cater to a specific audience: luxury brand customers.

Our strategy involved basing our design decisions on competitor analysis and gauging user expectations in the luxury market. Our team began the project by creating moodboards, a style guide, wireframes, and prototypes in Figma, and continued adapting the work based on user feedback. I focused on devising an accessible, unique, and fitting color palette, as well as ensuring smooth navigation logic and elegant transitions.

Overall, I gained experience balancing form and function and learned that collaborative feedback is essential for improving the final product. This helped me effectively align UI to user expectations and goals. As a result of our work, we devised an app prototype that successfully conveyed the brand's ethos and received positive feedback during usability testing.
